Vmt - I have little trust in vets based on past experience

When they found out we had insurance suddenly suggested this really exspensive, specialist stuff, 50 miles from home. When I then said we only have £3000 of cover, which wouldn't be enough, meaning we'd have to fork out thousands, they suddenly suggested a nearer 'specialist' which was cheaper - although we'd still have to pay a couple of grand. I swear they get referral kick backs, hence suggesting the more exspensive place.
As it happens, we went for neither and she made a full recovery and 4 years on, still in excellent health.
