Did it lose power during an update cycle
Cos if so a clean install of Windows is often the only option. Which is a bit of a bugger. You do get the option to keep all your files. Sometimes. But you need to download the correct ISO image onto a thumb drive big enough to take it (8Gb covers it iirc) and it takes longer than it should. It’s a right pain.
