Re: Question marks over his English

Heard an extract from an interview conducted last month where he said "Yes, if I were interested in the job, the language would be one of my first obstacles" or something like that.

So it's not as if he's not aware of it himself.

Having said that, I've heard three or four interviews with him over the last week or so on Five Live, and his English really doesn't seem that bad.
