When selecting a person for a job in any industry (not just football) you have to pick the BEST applicant, not the one with the correct nationality.
Scolari has won the world cup and taken a team to the Euro Champs final.
Big Sam has taken Bolton to 8th
Curbs has taken Charlton to 9th
Mclaren has taken Boro to 10th and 1 league cup.
Also its a matter of dealing with big name players, if any of teh 3 mentioned had became manager, as soon as things were not going right and they start having a go at Rooney, terry, Beckham and Co it wouldnt be long before they turned round and said what the f**k do you know, you havent won f**k all!
