Sargent has been inconsistent, but

offers a different blend to the people he's competing with, that undoubtedly has helped with our decent recent run.

Much of the criticism seems to be anchored in wishful thinking that Todd was on form/fit/motivated*, though why that results in mass defence of Todd and criticism for Sargent (who just two games ago was being hailed for his performance), is a little peculiar.

*delete as applicable - i dunno what's behind his form this year.
