This season the U23s (Development Squad, Reserves, Stiffs) has settled on a core of 16 young professionals.

Unlike previous years this core squad is doing the bulk of the work, with just two First Teamers and a handful of the Youth squad making occasional 'guest' appearances.

At this stage special mention must go to Tom Dickson-Peters (9 gls in 13 apps and Abu Kamara & Jon Rowe, both with 8 gls in 13 starts). Indeed, the side is the highest scorer in PL2 (2)

I'd love to praise some defenders but City happen to have the worst GA record in PL2 (2), today's 5-0 thrashing of Wolves being only their second clean-sheet of the season.

And before anyone (Jim!) gets all moist at this attacking talent, bear in mind that Omotoye & Ahadme have both stuggled to make an impression on League football so far this season.

As the club don't really want fans at Colney for U23 games they should make the effort to show these matches on the YT channel.
