Here's a thing and it's probably a little shallow
but I think seeing him at the training ground and in City garb will make a big difference.
Up to now it's all felt a little remote and arm's length - but it's always interesting how much a person's past/history is forgotten as soon as they're in the colours.
I also thought his comments in the original statement came over a little rushed and clumsy ("hardcore of support" etc).
Not sure if there was too much press team involvement or too little - but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing and hearing him actually speak about us.
