Literally no point catastrophising or ifonlying. A process some of us didn’t want and none of us had any control over has given us a manager who could be really good, appears well thought of by thoughtful fans at other places he’s worked, and at least carries none of the red flags some other mooted candidates had. So why not just go with it? It’s not as if there’s another choice really. Any new team member or manager deserves our support when they start. I’ve made no secret that I’d have kept DF the rest of November but here we are and the more I read about DS the more I like what I hear.
