Of course there's still unresolved questions for recruitment, but DF wasn't making anything out of 3 windows worth of players. It's not all on him obviously but someone like Sorensen has been in the squad 2 years? McCallum! We've signed 3 left backs since signing a player who seems good enough for the Championship at Coventry and QPR.

Probably drifting from my point but honestly the sacking felt like the only option to me.

Watford was the turning point for me, I was pissed off with how easily they mugged us in the Prem and then pissed off again that we ultimately couldn't even get a point off them with our "best ever team". To then get beaten in that fashion at home was gutting.

I still hold out hope that we'll meet again. Maybe Daniel takes kn Schalke for a few years and gets them back up the Bundesliga, DS stabilises us in the lower half of the Prem over the same period and it's a match made in heaven again.
