One angle that hasn’t been explored is whether we are a step up or a step down
For KK we are a step up. For Lampard and Smith we are a step down.
I think for most of us we are more comfortable with a step up manager, which is why KK feels a better fit. I don’t think we’ve ever had a successful step down manager, but doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen.
