Farke brought a sense of intrigue, enthusiasm, fun and of context to the fanbase.
Anyone dismissing the impact of the pandemic on the first Premiership campaign must have a screw loose. Those expecting anything more than mere survival this season given the depleted resources available must be similarly challenged.
If Lampard cannot deliver survival it is logical to view his appointment as an error designed to protect Webber and his reputation.
