Thing is, no-one really knows

The facts are:

- Todd, Gilmour, (say £60m of talent?) aren't playing (regardless of whether that's because Todd is being a bell, that's still far from ideal)
- Tzolis (one of the hottest prospects in Europe?) Not playing
- Results have been terrible
- Performances have been poor / disjointed
- Defence was identified as a big weakness after last time round, but somehow we're even worse at defending now, but with even less of an attacking threat.

I'm sure Webber will have been discussing with Daniel how he planned to turn things round, and Webber's conclusion was that what Daniel was saying wasn't going to get it done. Leeds was the clear indication of that, we get battered at Chelsea, but the response v leeds was meek. Same when after the Watford game, the response v Liverpool was pretty pants.

Evolution / tweaking of formation / playing personnel wasn't going to turn us around and get more than 1 point per game for the rest of the season.

I struggle to see the argument that no-one could do better than Farke, this season has been v poor. If he didn't have a credible vision for turning things round then I can see why Webber would feel forced to act. We clearly need some fresh ideas.

As to whether we'll actually appoint someone better, who knows?
