What’s the point of the PL? Sport excites us when true
competition exists. In the PL it doesn’t. It’s not about a loser mindset, it’s reality. When clubs like Wolves are owned by a billionaire and they can’t compete for trophies then where do you take the sport of football? What about the achievements of Cloughie at Forest, from 3rd division to European Cup winners or Wimbledon, non league to FA Cup winners. Success like this can never happen again so the beauty of competition has gone. The only ‘success’ available for the majority of clubs is to get to the Prem and stay there. That’s it.
