It's so sad that those awful experiences gave her this perspective. 'Disassociating' from her body really jumped out at me, in particular.

And what she says confirms what I've believed for many decades: that the fashion and modelling industry (and nowadays, Instagram) does the most extraordinary, untold harm to women in all sorts of ways. I've long thought that industry should be heavily regulated - but it isn't at all. It picks young girls up, dehumanises them, brutalises many of them and spits them out - and no amount of money can make up for that.
