But can't help but aspire to be in the top flight, no matter how much I dislike the direction it's gone in the last 25 years. Plus as much as I love Farke and some of the wonderful memories he has brought us - and they have been some of the best of times - he properly made me nervous about his management. Even in today's game I felt he was slow to react. Maybe he would have led us to another Championship title - it wouldn't be easy to argue against that possibility. But maybe it wouldn't be so easy without the likes of Emi?

So, yes, very mixed feelings tonight, but I think if I try to think with my head rather than my heart it is probably the right thing to do.
