…but he hasn’t achieved enough for us in the PL. We will never, ever be big spenders - and I am totally okay with the way the club is run in a sustainable way - but he should have been able to do more with the team we had at the last two attempts.
Genuinely gutted that it has ended this way, but onwards and upwards. Say what you like about Webber, but he will have had this planned out weeks ago, and I suspect whoever comes in will not be on the bookies shortlists.
Equally, if it is Steve Bruce, Webber can do one!
