admittedly not an easy choice

but for me it has to be between Safri and McVeigh. Safri has only played 30 games this season but we have looked a much poorer team without him. McVeigh seems to be the only player in the team to have performed at all away from CR this season. He made the difference in all of our decent away performances and saved us from a relegation battle with his superb form over Christmas. Doherty in contrast is the key member of a defence that has conceded the same number of goals as the likes of Millwall and Brighton.

McVeigh just scrapes it for me.
