nor the break from Pukki in the first half when he squared it instead of shooting, I would imagine.
My point is that the idea we were somehow engaged in a defensive rearguard action, hoping to snatch something from meagre scraps was not borne out by what actually happened.
We created chances, we were on the front foot for spells and better quality would have won us the game. We didn't fail to score today because of tactical timidity.
