Not sure what the issue is. Is it that you missed the match pick window or the buy date?

The buy date leaflet hasn’t changed for years and was sent out with the “membership pack” and the “away membership” letter which was dated July but I am pretty sure I didn’t get mine until after the match pick window. The club should make it available as a downloadable calendar or, as you say issue reminders as I certainly received an email reminder for Chelsea tickets but not Brentford.

The sales date listing is in the same place as usual on the website. It is not right to have two matches open on the same day but as they have cut back staffing in the ticket office it makes it easier for them not us.

If you missed the “match pick window” I am not surprised. There was one email a couple of weeks before the window opened and the process, which was not straight forward, was also on the back of the away membership letter so was easily missed.

According to the info in the “Supporters Panel” minutes 30% of those with the opportunity for a match pick didn’t take it up. I personally had a different issue which although resolved I am still in discussion with the club about so will not say more here other than Thursday is not early in the week. (They apparently monitor social media).

To my mind the club haven’t done enough (anything) to find out why such a large proportion who paid for this missed out as not all will have simply not read the info. This is a new process after two years without being able to get to games in any other industry you expect teething problems and if there is a less than expected take up you investigate rather than congratulate yourselves on success.
