Astroturf burns...

... it really does.

Got one on my knee right now and it stings like hell.

I got a bad one in September time that took ages to heal, probably because I kept re-opening the wound by falling down on it again every week. Had a month or so off, and it healed completely. Played again and Sunday and got a new one in the same place.

Anyone had anything similar and have any advice on how to help it heal quicker? It's kinda oozing a clear liquid which turns yellow when it's run about half-way down my leg.

I've done the usual antiseptic stuff (which feels like dipping your leg in a bucket of lava) but putting plasters on doesn't help, as the oozy stuff keeps leaking through.

Any thoughts on how I can help it heal and stop it from ruining my jeans aside from:

A: Going out in my boxers
B: Not falling down on my knee every week!
