I don’t know why there isn’t a body to retroactively view these things - other jobs have constant (if not always 100% effective) vetting. I get paid a tiny fraction of their salaries and my colleagues and I are under very frequent scrutiny. Why is the conduct of athletes so arbitrarily judged? A stupid tweet gets you on the front page, but regular and visible cheating isn’t sanctioned? That’s not right.
