lets put this in perspective

If we have spent millions on a load players who are so mentally weak and timid that they can't handle a few hundred fans out of a crowd of 28,000 booing and muttering the odd gallows humour type chants then we are in even more trouble than we think.

Let's not blow this out of perspective we are not in the same league as other clubs when it comes to getting on our players backs. Heaven forbid how these players would cope at clubs like Newcastle, Leeds, Wolves, Villa etc where fans are a lot more vocal and a lot less patient if things aren't going right.

This mentally that runs through the club that we should just accept defeat, shrug our shoulders and move onto the next game is just as harmful as a few boos and the odd chant. In this regard Jamal Lewis's comments on the difference in mentality/attitude to premier league defeats at Newcastle compared to us is very telling.
