Hughes was quite good today,
but Robinson was his usual self.
Gallagher looked very confident. If we can sell Greeno and keep Gallagher, I doubt many would complain.
Performances:
Flemm - OK, but distribution crap.
Doc and Shacks - excellent but on another day Shacks might have got a second booking for some clumsy challenges.
Drury - good
McVeigh - very good
Robinson - well, just Robinson
Hughes - played just behind Ernie and supported him well.
Desmond - slow, clumsy, not good enough for this league
Hucks - constant threat
Ernie - worked hard, scored a cracking goal
We never really looked in trouble. Cardiff had a few half chances but neve looked like they could win the game.
Cardiff fans were good tho, they sang all through the match even tho they were losing. Didn't hear any obscene chants about Delia unlike last time we were there.
Shit ground.
