I think the upshot is that if the results are dire, there can only be one outcome.

Not exactly sure what the point of no return is. But the fact is, if Webber believes he's given Farke a capable squad, I can't see him sitting back and having his reputation ruined by dreadful results. He's got an ego and he's got pride and plenty of ambition.
