The pattern is exactly the same as last time we were up

Play quite well for spells. Look like we can get something and then concede out of nowhere (often from their first meaningful attack) due to our inability to just do the defensive basics properly and/or deal with pace running at us.

We started the second half well as well and should have had a penalty (that ref is an uber c**t) which might have seen things play out very differently but again conceded out of nowhere to a very poor goal defensively.

That defence needs to be on the training ground every day this week doing repeated basic defending/marking drills. Its always been a problem under Farke so i refuse to believe its given the attention it should be. Still needs more protection from midfield though as welll. Cross need to be stopped at source and its too easy to be running at our centre backs after one simple pass up the middle.
