Stieperman up front. Trybull, vrancic etc midfield

Great ball players.

Ultimately once people worked us out not got enough but good enough to give people a shock. All went totally wrong then when farke tried to shore things up with more combative midfielders who weren’t good enough to enforce a prem midfield AND couldn’t pass…..

So far this year sides know what to expect, know how to bully us and we are overrun in midfield leaving what’s already a weak defence exposed time and again.

Sargent, kayak and normann look like moves in the right direction. Rashica looks like a lightweight number 10 who doesn’t fit the system.
Like tzolis a lot. Gilmour so far looks like he should be in the U23’s

McLean isn’t good enough at prem level so with him and gilmour in midfield plus lightweight rashica and pukki up front we are so easily bullied and overrun and we don’t exert enough sustained pressure to get many chances of our own :(

Love pukki but toney is so much harder to play against at this level.

I don’t want to go overboard yet but the next couple of games look tough and if you start with 7 straight defeats the club becomes a laughing stock and every match has attention until the run ends…..

Worried but farke has worked wonders before so I’m still hoping but much less confidently…..
