Press news in...

Daniel Farke's pre-Arsenal press conference will take place this afternoon at 1.15pm.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: Kenny is back in team training and we have to wait and see how his body reacts, but it is more or less good news and I think he will be alright.

DF: It is always a bit tricky (international call up) but it is important that we have some leadership and solution on this topic.

DF: (Max Aarons) I don’t comment on any rumours. It is not good for us or any other club. It is not our style. I was quite confident in the window that Max was a key player for us and it was never a topic for us to let him go.

DF: We are greedy to win some points and get off the mark at The Emirates. We are very respectful. Arsenal have a lot of quality and they were also struggling in the first few games with their availability. Right now they are all back to fitness and all available.

DF: There is no extra pressure, but we have the pressure anyway that we want to stay in this league. I think we were quite good in this transfer window. I am quite happy with my squad.

DF: When I think of Ozan Kabak I think a player full of potential, but he is a young player and his last league game was April. We have to be careful with what we are doing because he has only just arrived.

DF: It is a bit tricky because many of the (international) players arrived back late. There will some late decisions but definitely out will be Christoph Zimmermann with an ankle problem and Dimitris Giannoulis with back and neck problems, but there will be some late decisions.

DF: We are happy that we have them (Mathias Normann and Ozan Kabak) they will help us in the medium and the long term but how quickly we can throw them in we will have to see. We have many things to keep in mind.

DF: I am looking forward to having the squad together next with a full training week. Then we will have many options. It is a not that easy to find the right solutions (this week).

DF: It is not my style to comment on any other club. All I can say about Mike Arteta is he is a lovely guy that I have met many, many times. He is a fantastic coach and I think he tries to bring his handwriting on to this team.

DF: I think he (Mikel Arteta) is a fantastic manager, with fantastic values, and he is an unbelievably great guy.

DF: I always predicted that the first three of four games would be bumpy. I thought we had a really good 65 minutes against Liverpool and a really good game against Leicester where we deserved at least one point. Sometimes you have to accept this in football.

DF: We accept the schedule like it is. You have to play every team twice, once away and once at home. We have to be there, spot on, 100 per cent in every game.

DF: I am quite pleased with Milot's development. There is still lots of space for improvement. I think he deserves a lot of praise and we are all happy to have him but it is about the team rather than any individual player.

DF: We take this praise (that we are a joy to watch) but football is about effectiveness and we can improve in this topic because we are highly motivated to get some points on the board.

DF: Andrew (Omobamidele) is always in my thoughts. Sadly before the Liverpool game he missed two training sessions due to the illness. I am delighted for him that he had his full debut for Ireland.

DF: Yes, it is a different Arsenal side with more experience and also unbelievable quality. Their offensive options are outstanding in terms of their individual quality and they are all available for this game. We don't fear them but we respect them.

DF: So far so good. I was a little bit concerned because it was clear he would miss the first two games for Greece. It was a bit of a risk that he was in the squad but it says a lot about his reputation that the Greek team wanted him.

DF: This afternoon we have another session and if he (Christos Tzolis) comes through that without any problems with his calf then he will be available and that will be good news for us.

DF: It is a bit frustrating (the travel on international duty). He reported a bit of jet-lag and then there is no surprise that there is some problems with his hamstrings. I think it is doubtful that he will be involved tomorrow, but many teams are struggling with these problems.

DF: No, I can't influence what happens in a different stadium. I have no problems with how the game develops and if the Arsenal fans are with them, there with their support for 90 minutes as long as we are there with a positive result. We take the atmosphere like it is.
