I do wonder whether we'd be better reverting to a similar formation to last year:

My concern is that we need someone more robust in the 10 role which I'm not sure Dowell/Gilmour/Cantwell provide.

Lots and lots of options now, which makes me hopeful for the rest of the season, but might take a few games to shake out what works.
