between them and Pope (mainly Pope) we moved from 65 to 222 (tsch - double Nelson).
Main gripe I've had for years is that we've tried to fix the issues at 1-3 and 5 by noodling around with Stokes/Bairstow/Moeen/Woakes - while we've got great allrounders we shouldn't be disrupting them for a neverending cycle of ropey bats.
Am grateful that the Indians aren't above it themselves - anyone got any idea why Ashwin isn't playing?
