Spend & Budget are two totally different things

Why is this so tough to grasp?

Jim said we had a 'net spend' but he excluded Dimi & Gibson because they were not in the summer budget.

They weren't in the budget because they were already at the club!

But the fees for their permanent transfers were still paid this summer (likely on or after July 1) and will still need to be included in the Net Cost of our summer business.
