My view was, and pantsbot if required, that although a massive blow given what a genius he is, it gave us the opportunity to reinvent ourselves and be considerably more effective.

I think we saw a flavour of that against Leicester, with the two new acquisitions, and tzolis returning to fitness, I’m feeling very hopeful.

Whilst it may well be that it’s the hope that kills you, it’s also what it is to be a football fan. This window has reignited the hope for me.
