He hasnt done anything at boro apart from a cup run
Robson had some cup runs too, but you dont hear anyone saying he should get the job.
In the 4 seasons he has been at boro they have averaged 49.2 points. In the 3 years previous, they averaged 48.3.
Its hardly a big improvement and he has had plenty of money to spend.
They would be better to appoint a manager who had a proven track record of improving clubs.
