Barclay Lower Block D for decades, not years
Then had to give up season ticket (family reasons), now "just a member", though back in Norwich since last year post-divorce and ready to get a ST again.
I sat in the Barclay for Liverpool and was moved to tears more than once just to be back. Wasn't there today but sat halfway up the pitch for the Bournemouth game.
Honestly saw so much more of the game than I was used to seeing. But simultaneously it felt wrong hearing the atmosphere rather than being one of those generating it.
I guess I'll flip between the two the rest of this season (I thought I'd never get a ticket being only a member but so far that seems quite wrong, it's been no issue at all). And maybe forever, honestly: some weeks being one of the noisy ones and some weeks actually properly seeing the football feels like a reasonable balance.
