"Congratulations to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for having a baby or something this week.

It's somewhat odd that they slept in separate rooms when they were promoting War Of The Worlds in Rome last year at the start of their whirlwind - and totally spontaneous - romance.

Tom and his sister, Lee Ann Devette, bagged the two top suites at the plush Hotel Hassler. Katie, meanwhile, was relegated to sleeping in the same sort of regular room that his SIX staff bodyguards had.

In related Cruise News, Radio 4 ran an item this week about Tom's plans to eat Katie's placenta after the birth. The station called up a 'placenta expert' and asked her what was actually in it. She replied, "Female hormones - and does he really need any more of those?"
