I think in general the players that have come in will be better than those that left...

but the exceptions to that, and these exceptions are massive, are Buendia and Skipp.

If we're going to try and play the same way we did last season, I can't see how we can be as effective as we've lost the two players that really allowed us to do it.

However, if as I suspect is the case, we're going to tweak our style a bit, perhaps we can find a way to be more effective without Buendia?

Losing Skipp and not yet finding a direct replacement is clearly a big hole that needs filling.
