Are they clever or what ?
A week ago they announced a new plan which they would pilot in the area of Utrecht. When major accidents or other road hazards such as people driving the wrong way down the motorway occured, they would warn drivers by way of cell broadcast - an SMS to every mobile phone in the area.
Smart.
Not only is it illegal to use the handset while driving, but it is f**king dangerous to read SMS messages while bombing down the motorway, especially when there is a hazard ahead !
Took them a week to realise this. And the months of trials beforehand.
