We’ve got lots of good players. We will be a handful for many teams in this league. We will get fitter, better and match fit. We were okaying a top side. Thought Rashica looked decent.

But.

Regardless of personnel we should be able to mark players better from corners and crosses. It’s basic stuff and it makes a difference when you are up against top teams who will punish you,

Our defence still looks like it has a c**k up a game in it.

And as has been said so many times now we desperately, desperately need a defensive midfielder or it will undermine all the good stuff. It’s not really good enough in my book to say we still looking. It should have been the first and main priority this summer. Until we screen that defence better and stop trans exploiting the space in front of our defence we will concede goals.
