Brentford were certainly street smart

When you look at the stats from their game they actually weren’t great snd probably should have had their second goal disallowed. Only had 33% possession and Arsenal had 24 shots.

But they had a physicality about them that was a bit reminiscent of Shef U in their first season, made fouls when they needed to and had switched to 3 at the back snd brought in a holding midfielder. Basically if you don’t ship soft goals you give yourselves a chance of nicking the game
