If they really thought Skipp was so crucial why not offer £25m and have done with it? That's clearly what we've got left at the mo looking to spend on CB, DM and FB?

Part of what worked last year was Skipp and Kenny dropping into full back while Max and Dimi (or Sorensen) pushed up. Cantwell and Emi worked in a lot of that vacated space in the middle.

Well get mullered playing that same way but our intention seems just to be to play with 3 centre backs instead?
