Not a fan of it though. Loved watching Emi and Todd roving around.

Todd only truly added that to his game last year so to potentially lose him having had his best season behind closed doors is shame. Can't see him signing a new contract at all. At his age the chance of at worst being a free agent in two years is too great.

The question is does £30m and potentially 4 years each of three new players now serve us better for the next 3/4 seasons than 2 seasons of Todd?

I expect it probably does.
