Could some of it not be bad luck?

My eyes mostly agree with you on the technical side BUT

He seemed to be trying too hard to impress in limited opportunities.

When the Pukki opening happened he was immediately injured.

Watching his goals from QPR the season before they were mostly good strong finishes I think only 1 or 2 were headers or 6 yard bundles.

Equally all the noises are that they really rate Idah as Pukki backup so Hugill is really only going to continue to be miscast and thrown on late.

When he has been thrown on it also feel harder to judge as Farke tinkers and tinkers until we're playing a 3-1-6 formation.
