Yep, doesn't sit well with me at all

Can see it launching women's cricket in a good way, but I've never understood the point in reducing the pool of teams in county cricket.

The argument it drives up the importance of games is totally dissolved by the layers and layers of matches and competitions in all the myriad formats.

I miss the one dayers being 'Sunday league' and there being a pattern to the week. Now I've got no idea when anyone is playing (curse of the TV contracts)
