In my uneducated opinion they did it arse about face.

Most covid was being spread among kids at school who then brought it home. Vaccine the kids (they're more used to it) stops jumping from house to house via those dirty little vectors of disease.

First outdoor picnic I had with other families in 18 months and our family was on the toilet for 48 hours after hands touched other kids toys. Had to change kids bedding twice overnight from projectile vomit. From Facebook groups that norovirus ripped through the city over a couple of weeks.
