Not too much. The wettest place is Scandinavia! Can you fly there direct?

A big student town, so lively, but it'll be even more expensive than Copenhagen! Cigarettes & booze especially, so stock up at duty free (Norway is not in the EU).

Very nice place too - I'm told there are great views over the sea/fjord when you take your morning perambulation up the hill to work off the hangover.

The oil town, Stavanger is supposed to be good too, but probably a bit harder to get to.
