I'd be tempted to bring in Hameed for Sibley.

Yet to be convinced that Pope offers anything more than Bairstow/Moeen

We need to have at least one spinner in the side (Leach/Bess/Moeen) and in my view, I'd have Stokes at 5 and Buttler /bairstow at 6

Then look to someone like Woakes/Moeen at 7.

The specialist batsmen we've been picking are simply not justifying their place in the team yet. The wicket keepers are all good enough to bat as all rounders in the top 6.

It'd be okay if it was only one of them settling in or not coming off, but you can guarantee that two of the top four will fail to get in along with at least one (and regularly both of 5/6).

Not really criticising any of the players, they've all shown fleeting glimpses of the potential to be up to snuff, but the fact that none of them have kicked on and if anything seem to get worse the longer they're involved in the England squad give me big question marks about how we prepare them.

It's mainly frustration, as you can see there's real talent there, but the mindset just seems all wrong.
