My concern is that our Farke style of play requires a player in holding midfield of a quality that we will simply never be able to afford.

As we saw this season, that outlet for the defence to Skipp was absolutely critical to our success. That's why having Tettey in that role would never work in the PL; we have to have someone that can receive it, and get going forward rather than just passing straight back to the CBs which invites horrendous pressure from on rushing pressing attackers.

Basically, we need Kante.....

I love Farke and I love Webber, I have every faith they will do a great job recruiting this summer. If Buendia goes, and it seems inevitable he will, I'm sure they already have a plan for who will come in and how we will play.
