Oh the alternative is him going last season before promotion

When everyone thought he would, or this season after promotion, it's incredibly good business to have kept him.

I think it's right that we allow his career to get to the best level of can, and that is very clearly not with Norwich. If he stays and has another good season and we just stay up, fans will be just as annoyed at selling him next year.
