trouble with nth circ west ...

is that it's usually blocked solid (too many Ikeas :-)

whereas east will get u to C.Wharf in about 15 mins

C.Wharf to London Bridge s/b no more than another 15

then it's pot luck along the Embankment (but as you say - nice views, particularly the sloanes in their bmw convertibles)
