But for that jammy come-back late in the game I believe that by one means or another Mr Worthington would have been on his bike last night or today. The supporters were winning an important battle until three of the most unlikely goals you will ever see went in during those final twelve minutes.
Not for the first time this season Norwich yesterday were simply awful. Like the manager they were clueless, spineless and totally devoid of any tactical awareness. Mr Worthington's stay at the Club has probably now been unnecessarily extended for a further meaningless period. We all know he is past his sell-by date and sooner or later will have to go. For God's sake Delia put us all out of our misery, or are the rumours true?
