What I think..
1. Huxs did not have to mention "the gaffer". To do so indicates to me that the players are well and truly behind the manager. They must feel that this is season is OK and I would go further and say that the club internally feels the same.
2. To mention the fans had unrealistic expectations of going into this season again shows that the club feels that Worthy has done OK and all that is wrong is what is expected of them.
I think that listening to a player like Huxs really does tell you the feelings within the club.
As for the fans, looks like we have another season of Worthy and the joy it brings.
Lastly, some may say that Huxs would have to side with his employer but, lets face it, the interviewer has no interviewing skills and could not draw out a response if he tried. Hux basically volunteered these insights.
